Delivery Information

Goods will be delivered as stated below. We aim to dispatch goods in stock as quickly as possible, however for a guaranteed delivery date please use one of our urgent or guaranteed delivery services.

Free Next Day Delivery

Free next day delivery is availible certain orders subject to review. When you total an order prior to placing it, the form shows if you qualify for free next day delivery or if there will be a charge.

To qualify for free next day delivery your order total must be greater than £30. Orders under £10 will have a £6.50 delivery charge, orders under £20 have a £5.00 delivery charge and orders under £30 have a £3.00 delivery charge.

Same Day Delivery

Urgent and 'Guaranteed By' delivery times are only valid for mainland England, Wales and Southern Scotland - some Scottish and Northern Ireland postcodes require an extra day for delivery.

All next day deliveries are subject to availibility of the goods. From time to time items are out of stock but not recorded on our database. Data cleansing is carried out regularly

If it will help, we are more than happy to arrange delivery to your place of work or a convenient alternative address. Please let us know when ordering.

Orders are Subject to a surcharge for same day delivery.

Remote Postcodes

A limited number of remote postcodes are subject to an additional delivery charge. We will notify you immediately if this applies to your order, and will only proceed with your approval.

Above Ground Floor Deliveries

The couriers are only allowed to deliver to the ground-floor. This is for insurance and Health & Safety reasons. If you wish to have your goods delivered to a location above or below ground level then please make arrangements before the courier arrives.

Safes

Please be aware that the delivery of a safe is always dependant upon the access to the building. Delivery is to the ground floor and dependent on there being no access problems (e.g. steps, door size, etc). There may be an additional charge for any other delivery conditions. You will be required to answer some basic access questions when you purchase a safe.

Heavier Goods

Delivery charges listed on the site are subject to normal conditions. Additional charges may be incurred if what you have ordered constitutes an unusually heavy load (including but not limited to large quantities of paper, office furniture, etc.) You will be informed of any additional charges via telephone prior to finalization of the order.

Where do you deliver to?

By default we will deliver to the address you registered with. If you wish to have your goods delivered to an alternative address then use either the form provided in the My Account section or by Contacting Us

Where is the rest of my order?

First check your delivery note to see if the missing items are included in this delivery. If it is then phone us immediately at

so we can trace your missing item(s) and resolve the situation as quickly as possible.

If the item is not included on your delivery note check the My Account section of the site and review your orders to ensure the missing item is included on there. If it isn't then either re-order the item or Contacting Us so we can discover why the item has disappeared.

Can I choose a delivery date?

This is a feature we will be adding to the site during its upgrade due at the end of 2006-early 2007. In the mean time you can call us and ask for your order to be held until a certain date. To ensure an efficient turn around of orders we endeavor to turn orders placed on the web to orders - this means that if you place an order that you wish to be delivered on a specific date we recommend you call us with half an hour of ordering otherwise your order may be delivered on the usual date and you will incur an administration charge of 25% of the value of the order for reshelving and restocking.

What is priority delivery?

Priority Delivery guarantees next day and sometimes same day delivery for a charge. The charge varies depending on location of delivery and size of order.

Order has been signed by unknown person

If your order has been shown as being delivered but you have not received your goods contact us immediately. We will check with the couriers to find the person who signed for the goods. Should you not recognise the name then we will begin proceedings to discover the person who claimed the goods and seek legal avenues for recovering them.

Where is my order?

Depending on which delivery option you have selected the courier may be out until 5:30pm delivering. If you are worried that your delivery may not arrive then contact us and we will contact the courier company to find the location of the driver and an estimated time of delivery.
Unfortunately we cannot ask the courier for an ETA for each delivery because there are so many orders sent out by us each day and the courier company handles so many deliveries it is inpractiable to ask for everyone.

What is a backorder?

Backorders are items that have been ordered but are currently out of stock both with us and our suppliers. We aim to have these items delivered to you as soon as possible, or you can contact us to cancel the items that have been placed in backorder.

When will my order be delivered?

Usually your order will be delivered before 5:30pm on the next working day. Some items have longer lead times (non-standard stock, larger items such as furniture) - you will be informed of the delivery estimate as soon as we have the information and you will be given the opportunity to cancel your order should the longer lead time be inconvenient.

When is my backorder due?

Backorders can have varying due estimates depending on whether the manufacturer has any stock, other warehouses in the UK have stock or whether we can source the item from non-standard suppliers. As soon as we can have an item shipped to you we will inform you.

Cancel an item on backorder

If your order is placed in backorder and we cannot source the item within one week you will have the opportunity to cancel the items at no charge. If you wish to cancel the order within a week there will be an administration charge of between 10% and 25% (this is to cover the cost we are charged for being able to source an item and then send it back).
